This. Not only because I agree with Dani’s views on this topic, but because of this single line:

This is true on SO many discussion topics I’ve seen. Some people have the complete inability to look at things from an objective viewpoint, and will only examine an issue from their own point-of-view, citing their own experiences are irrefutable data to prove their opinion.

I generally find I cannot have discussions with those sorts of people.
